Using sheep to help control weeds.

Weed Control

Our goal regarding weed control is to remain mindful of our long term impact on the land as we control invasive and noxious weeds.  We have learned valuable lessons controlling weeds in the inland west.  We are up against many types of weeds in agricultural settings, riparian habitats, uplands, roadsides and landscapes.  We have employed all tools in our toolbox over the years and continue to contemplate and strategize for the best results.

Within our adaptive management program success is viewed by its sustainability, integrity and agreed upon goal achievements.  Some of our weed control methods include prescribed and targeted grazing, mowing, fire, mulching and manual labor.
